Against racism!

I’ve just saw that on facebook. It is true and nice… so, the right thing for my blog ;-)

Your car is German.
Your vodka is Russian.
Your pizza is Italian.
Your kebab is Turkish.
Your democracy is Greek.
Your coffee is Brazilian.
Your movies are American.
Your tea is Tamil.
Your shirt is Indian.
Your oil is Saudi Arabian.
Your electronics are Chinese.
Your numbers Arabic, your letters Latin.

And you complain that your neighbor is an immigrant?
Pull yourself together!
Copy if you’re against racism

My point:
I am german.
I am living in Cyprus (at the moment).
My dive buddy is from the Ukraine, my dive instructor from the UK. My favorite dive spot is in the turkish area. My home in the greek area of Cyprus.
My friends here are from Poland, Ukraine, UK, Ireland, Australia, Germany, Philippines, USA, Egypt and many other countries. Everybody has his religio, his point of view. We speak about it, but never fight about it.
And I guess the rest is like above… car from Japan, electronics from Chinese or Hong Kong, Shirt… maybe German ;) etc.

Amazing show in the Guaba in Limassol

Hi friends,

Patrick came around with a visitor of him yesterday. I should show them limassol and surround.
We was first at Kurium and then on the castle of limassol for dinner. And after it we went to Guaba… my new favorite place in Limassol :-)

That was nice yesterday again. We was smoking water pipe and realized then that there was dancer which was performing a great show. I’ve tryed to make movies of it… but it was dark… so the quality isn’t so nice… but better as nothing ;-)

Enjoy…

I found the first great club/bar in Limassol – Guaba

Hi friends,

yes, i found the first nice bar/club in Limassol. I’ve missed it so long here. A nice club with nice music. Or how all older people – minimum 5 years older – would say: bum bum music :-D :-P

I’ve met me last friday with anna in the Guaba. Before I’ve never been there and heared just in one time about it. A wonder, because it’s really a great club.

The club himself is direct on the beach. There is a main building with the DJ table and the club is open air incl. a part of the beach behind the club.
They played on friday nice chill out music. My friend said that they will turn down the music after midnight, that the people can chill. But unfortunately next door opend another club and they don’t think that the music has to be quite on a friday after midnight. So, no chilling… :-(

An today – sunday – they played nice trance/house music with DJ Nick Warren… and the club was full with many friendly people :-)

Absolutely great is that they open on sunday at 3pm. until 8pm. Exactly the right think for a sunday. So you can go home at 8 and have enough sleep to be fit for the work on monday ;-)

How to find the guaba?
Very easy. It’s next to the Aquarius Hotel on the beach road. You can’t overlook it from outside. It’s full with graffiti. Also clothe to the Guaba is the Drifters Bar and Mc Donalds.

The webaddress of the Guaba is: http://www.guababeachbar.com

My first english blog entry

Hi together,

actually i descided now to write also english articles in my blog. Why? Hmm… first of all, i have to practice my english. You’ll find out… it’s crab.
And then… i’m living in abroad and my blog is still just in german. That can’t be! :-) Sometimes i have information which are also interesting for people who don’t speak german. For example when i write something about cyprus or some other things which is interesting for all people in the world. And my friends are now also international and not everybody understand german… ok, here the friends in cyprus speaking many languages… but just 3 or 4 of them german.

So, now then also in english. Ok… with my amount of blog entrys in the month… it will be one german and one english article per month :-) Anyway…

So, we read us! ;-)
